Mission
At Bee Resonance Project we raise thriving honeybees, empower mindful beekeepers, and care for the land—nurturing healthy communities today and into the future.

What we are up to
Established in 2016 under the brand Empress Green, Bee Resonance Project now tends more than 100 hives in the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires.
We are natural and mindful beekeepers, prioritizing the needs and well being of the honeybees over the more conventional approach of extraction and profit first.
We work with private clients, farms, and organizations who hire us to manage bee hives for them. In our network of schools, we guide cohorts of students in natural beekeeper.
We are the beekeepers at Kripalu Yoga Retreat Center, where we facilitate Mindful Beekeeping workshops and multi night mindful beekeeping and nature connection retreats.
Land Owners Book an Assessment
The purpose of this assessment is to gain a deeper understanding of your intentions for incorporating honeybees onto your property and to align our natural beekeeping practices with your vision. We aim to discuss your motivations for wanting honeybees, your level of involvement, and who will interact with the bees, including family and neighbors. Together, we will walk the land to select an ideal location for the hives, assess the landscape to determine an appropriate starting point for the number of hives, and explore potential remediation efforts and honeybee-friendly plantings to enhance the environment. We will also consider options for bear prevention, including choosing an appropriate type of structure or fencing. Additionally, we will discuss budget considerations, pricing, and establish a timeline for implementation.
