Since 2023, we have been facilitating the transformational "Mindful Beekeeping Workshop" for Kripalu's coveted RnR program. Each month on Wednesday mornings April-October we have guided groups of 15-25 people in landing, grounding centering and connecting. Our workshop is centered around honoring the honeybees needs first and asking permission, listening for the answer and respecting and upholding there wishes. Only entering the hive if the bees truly want us there. For many of the participants going up close to a live hive and being with us as we open her up is a profound threshold experience that with the strong container we hold allows for the shedding of fear to happen. The misconceptions of the mean angry honeybees melts away, the disconnected and othering from nature moves toward oneness. So together we listen communicate, uplift and deepen our relationship with the honeybees and intern our place in nature.

Through the cold seasons we guide participants in Mindful candle dipping experiences. The intention of these quiet contemplative workshops are to build reciprocity both with the honeybees and all our relations. We dip two candles, one for someone in our lives in need of warmth and light, perhaps its someone going through a hard moment, be it emotional or physical so that they receive a good blessing, in the form of a candle, dipped with deep positive intention and will for what ever that person is going through. The second candle is for ourselves, so that we may also receive warmth and light in our places of shadow and darkness or stuckness. this is a very powerful moment to contemplate and heal.
We have to date held these sessions for hundreds of participants.
